Below are ways to consciously connect with the Trees from your heart
including ceremonial suggestions.​​
​Mother Gaia and the Overarching Mother Tree Council of our Sacred Earth have requested that the 1000 Goddesses Gathering Global Grid evolve this year to include the Standing Ones or the Tree People.
The role of the Standing Ones/Trees around our world is truly beyond description. They provide food, materials for building and firewood, contribute oxygen so we can breathe, and so much more. In addition, trees are conduits of spiritual energy and information from the cosmos into Mother Gaia’s skin (biosphere) and bones (rock layers) to Mother’s heart in the center of our planet … and back out to the cosmos.
All trees around the world are intimately connected with the Tree of Life, which is recognized in all belief systems. The Tree of Life beckons us to remember our Sacred Oneness with all on our Sacred Earth.

Traditionally, the spiritual call for this annual Divine Feminine Unified Field of ceremonies has been for our sacred circles around the world to invoke our Spirit Teams in ceremony. We have asked for beautiful Luminous Love to infuse our Sacred Earth with healing energies, as we energetically linked our rituals together into an auspicious web of healing for our entire planet.
This is in fulfillment of the Tibetan Prophecy that when 1000 Goddesses or Tibetan Taras unite, then the tone of our Sacred Earth will shift from Fear to Compassion.
In 2024, Mother Gaia is asking we Love-Up the Trees in different ways, including doing ceremony specifically with the Standing Ones. We shall invite them to join our Global Field of Healing by contributing their significant energies to our actions and ceremonies.
Numerous plant communicators have received direct messages from the trees that they want us to reach out to them for support during these intense times. Trees embody deep calming, healing energies within their biofields which they know we humans can greatly benefit from during this phase in our human history.

Trees are asking us to wake up to their significant intelligence and wisdom and LOVE. They would like for us to treat them far more consciously and reverently than perceiving them as solely “Standing Lumber” to be harvested.

The tree kingdom is made up of highly sentient beings and wish to cultivate loving relationships with each and every human.
Thus, the invitation for the 1000 Goddesses Gathering in 2024 is to honor and “Love-Up” the trees, and … connect with them in heart to heart rapport. And if we choose to do ceremony, to ask them to connect with us within them. They have an extensive Global Grid in the earth’s multi-dimensional planes and this Unified Field of healing promises to be beautiful for all the Sacred Seen & Unseen Ones, including the human realms – with the “partnership” of The Global Tree Grid.

More Ideas for your Tree Ceremony:

Trees love drumming from the heart, singing or playing soft music, flute or other gentler instruments of music. They also love chimes.

Along with that music or drumming, dance around the tree(s). Your dance might be individual movement or it might be hand-holding in lines or circles.

After receiving permission and in a state of inner peacefulness, offer these statements (either individually or as a grouping of statements) as chants from your heart to the trees. You may chant briefly or for as long as you like. You may even combine these chants with dancing around the tree(s).

Bring art supplies to your ceremony. Draw, paint, or do other kinds of artistic expression while in a connected state with the tree. You might allow the tree to “draw” through you. Make this a “no judgement” zone. Allow the images to flow whether you think they make sense or not. Then, share the image with a friend or within your sacred group.

Bring paper and pens/pencils to your ceremony. While in a connected state with the tree, begin by asking the tree this question: “What is your life or health like?” Allow the tree to “speak” about its life or its state of health through you by writing its message on paper. Make this a “no judgement” zone. Allow the words to flow whether you think they make sense or not. Then, share the message aloud with a friend or within your sacred group.

Use the LIFE SUSTAINING CHANT (or song) developed by Jim Conroy, PhD., and Ms. Basia Alexander. This chant is sacredly directed and designed to be botanically correct and physiologically targeted for improving trees’ or plants’ health. The chant gives them the general information they need to resume inner health and so to become resilient in climate extremes. This chant is based on Conroy and Alexander’s Collaborative Ecological Healing mindful methods.

​Begin by asking permission to offer this information. Speak (affirm) to the tree’s intelligence: “This is for correct season use.” Then, chant or sing the following three phrases as a unit for a minute or for as long as you are comfortable. You may sit, stand, walk, or dance as you chant.
- Make more food
- Drive and clear circulation
- Grow
- ​​​Complete your chant/song by saying “Thank you” to the tree and “Thank you” to yourself.

- ​If you are still experiencing your moontime, you can pour your moonblood at the bottom of a tree or set of trees. There is a Hopi Prophecy that “when women start to offer again their moonblood to earth, men will come home from war and there will be peace.” – Learn more at Red Tara Tree.

- Urinate on a tree’s base/roots. This information came from a tree in the Netherlands that was communicating with the remarkable Nature Mystic Liza Atsma. Trees actually miss living with us far more closely. When we existed far more simply and not so separately from the natural world, we would pee at the bases of trees. This allowed them to tune in to us better to discern what we needed and how they could support us energetically.​

Tree "Loving-Up"/Ceremony Ideas:
There are infinite ways to engage with the Standing Ones in heart-felt ways. It can be as complicated or simple as you would like including even organizing a ritual.
FIRST AND FOREMOST - PLANTING TREES AND LOVINGLY TAKING CARE OF THEM AS THEY GROW, ALONG WITH PROTECTING THEM, IS A GENEROUS ACT OF CARING FOR THE TREES, OUR SACRED EARTH AND ALL FUTURE GENERATIONS.

Visit your favorite tree(s). Being outside for the Unified Field of ceremonies is best. If the weather is bad, you may still connect with your tree(s) indoors because you will be connected on the spirit plane.
​

Start by taking several long deep breaths, and then send love to your own heart. Know that you are exchanging 'breath' with the trees as you do this - Interbreathing. Then come to a place of inner peace.
​

Turn your attention and ask the tree’s body and spirit: “I would like to engage with you and to do ceremony in equal partnership with you today. Is that okay?”
​

Be patient. Feel either a welcoming sense or subtle push-away. If you “hear” a response, honor it. If you think you don’t feel anything, ask the tree to help you increase your sensory awareness. Trust yourself.

Begin this way: Connect with Mother Gaia’s heart by visualizing a beautiful cord of energy from your energy body and root chakra extending to Mother’s heart in the center of our Sacred Earth. This energy cord is pulsing Love between you and Mother’s heart.

Stand nearby or sit with your back against the tree. If indoors, sit peacefully and focus your attention on the tree as best you can.
​

Feel the love in your own heart. Feel that loving bioenergy field expand through your whole body and then radiate like the sun outside your body.

Be aware that the tree is also radiating love within and then outside of its body.
​

When you are ready, say to the tree: “I am open to exchanging love with you.”

Allow your shining love-field and the tree’s shining love-field to overlap into a shared Heart Space.

Breathe in and imagine a stream of love (like air or water) coming into your heart area from the tree…

Breathe out and imagine a stream of love (like air or water) going out your belly area back to the tree.

Continue enjoying this Breathing In and Out circular cycle of LOVE (like air or water) exchange between you and the tree for a few minutes or for as long as you are comfortable.

Next, peacefully visualize or feel the shared heart-space that has arisen between you and the tree.

Imagine that — together— your shared heart space is part of the Unified Field of glowing tree and human hearts linked all around the planet for this day - "Global Tree Love Day".

In collaboration with the tree’s deep intelligence and spirit—TOGETHER-- send even more LOVE into that Unified Field.

Imagine that Unified Field of Love is supporting all of the trees around the planet, supporting all humans, and supporting Mother Gaia. Imagine how you are amplifying Gaia’s Oneness Grid.

If you are complete with this process as your simple ceremony for the day, THANK the tree. Wiggle your toes and fingers to return your energy to your body and your human awareness. THANK yourself. You may leave sparkly glass beads or something similar as an offering to the tree itself and the Nature Spirits who live so intimately with the trees.

Other general suggestions for creating ceremony
for a 1000 Goddesses Gathering Global Grid sacred circle:
From the first moment that Mother Gaia asked Mare Cromwell to organize the Gathering in 2015, she gave her the vision of women all over the world joining energetically to anchor beautiful Divine Feminine energies into Mother's heart – the center of our Sacred Earth. As we do this, we are deeply amplifying a significant energetic grid across the planet - Gaia's Oneness Grid - to help bring the healing energies in that are so needed now.
As the Global Event has evolved, there came a strong call from Mother Gaia that those embodying the Divine Masculine be present at the satellite ceremonies, to help hold Sacred Space for the ceremonies -- for the Divine Balance. However, women can gather without any men present also. (Please do not let this Call from Gaia deter you if you do not wish to have those embodying the Masculine present ... though Mother is calling us to come into Sacred Balance as we can.)

Mother encourages us to anchor to her heart and drum, dance, sing, even wail - if needed, to connect with our Divine Feminine spirit teams (and Divine Masculine guardians) to truly raise the spiritual energies woven around the globe.

The following are more suggestions to consider in coming together in Sacred Circle for ceremony, to link energetically with us and the Tree People around the Globe on Saturday, November 2nd. These suggestions can be applied to an online/virtual ceremony also.​

Also, you are whole-heartedly encouraged to access the Gaia’s Oneness Grid visualization and do this prior to your ceremony (available for free). This was downloaded to Mare Cromwell two days after the 1000 Goddesses Gathering & Global Grid in October, 2018. This came from the overarching Spiritual Council that is behind the Global Grid, which includes the Family of One in our universe. In each of our Unified Fields of ceremonies around the world, we deeply activate Gaia’s Oneness Grid as a result of the network of ceremonies across the planet. Listening to this visualization will connect you spiritually to this Spiritual Council and prime you and your group to more deeply anchor your ceremony to the heart of Mother Gaia.

Below is a suggested outline for leading ceremony for the 1000 Goddesses Gathering Global Grid.

Note that these suggestions can also be used for a virtual sacred circle where there are women (priestesses) in different locations all participating with prepared parts. Or, there could be one ceremonial leader who conducts the ceremony as others join in quietly. There are a multitude of ways to do ceremony in person or virtually so you are encouraged to be creative. (This 1000 Goddesses Gathering event in Tiberon, California, led by the late High Priestess Celestine Star, is an example of how one group organized a virtual ceremony on October 24, 2020. The 2022 Global Grid was dedicated to Celestine.)

Leading Ceremony:

Create Sacred Space with candles, incense, smudge, etc, prepared.

Leave your emotional burdens at the door, so to speak. Smudge before you start, if that is your tradition.

Create a group altar with various icons of the Great Mother and Goddesses on it (Kuan Yin, Durga, Isis, Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Osun, Yemaya, etc. Mare did a several day ceremony once where she printed off many images of various Goddesses from different websites to lay around the outer ring of the sacred fire ceremony. It can be that simple.)

You can have images of your ancestors on the altar.

Animal totem images also

Favorite stones, etc.

Light a candle at the altar and activate the altar.

Ask for your spiritual guardians to come in, to help hold the space spiritually. (If this is an online ceremony, you can ask that all the participants call on their Spiritual Guardians to help hold sacred space too.)

Ask for your ancestors serving the Highest Good to come in also. (And all online participants can call on them also.)

Invoke these Goddesses and the Great Divine Mother/Creatrix. Invoke as many as you can, always making it clear that you are asking only for those serving the Highest Good for Divine Plan Alignment to come in. It is important to make that clear.

It is wise to also invoke some Gods and the Great Divine Father, for balance. (Some may not agree with this and that is fine. Yet, what our Sacred Earth needs is balance between the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine now.)

Another suggestion is the Mantra Ma to invoke the Mother of all Grace, Compassion, Support & Love.

Once you have opened up the ceremony and invoked the Mothers in, the next piece is to visualize their love energy coming into your energy body (as it has).

And then drop this sacred energy mixed with your energy body down to the heart of Mother Gaia.

You can visualize a powerful cord of energy dropping from your root chakra to the very center of the Planet – Mother Gaia's core.

Feel this cord getting strongly connected to Mother Gaia’s heart.

Then send love from your heart chakra to Mother Gaia’s heart.

Next ask Mother Gaia to send her love back to you, to your heart chakra.

You can keep on pulsing this love back and forth between you and Mother Gaia, sending the sacred energies of the Divine Mothers within your energy body down to her heart also.

Then, chant, dance, sway, move, drum, rattle, keep on sending the energies down into Mother Gaia and out around the world. Or Keen as you and your sacred circle may need to.

Visualize all the other beautiful ceremonies around our Sacred Earth -- to connect with all of us.

Make it as high vibrational as possible. Fun, silly even (if that is your guidance). Silliness is very high vibrational too! ;~)

You can keep on invoking/pulling in more Divine Cosmic Mother energies as you do this.

You can also include some Sacred Water Ceremony within your circle.

Ask everyone participating to bring some sacred water (from a pristine spring or stream, etc.)

Pray over it, hold it over your hearts, drum over it, and then pour some into the ground.

Keep some water to share with all, to take home with them.

Food can be part of your ceremony also. Sacred offerings, sharings.

The ceremony can be as long as you want it to be.

When you feel that you have reached the end of your ceremony, close it by announcing out loud to the spirit realms that it is officially over, thanking all the guardians, beautiful Mothers and other positive spiritual beings who have come in. (And ask those in your online ceremony to thank their guardians and ancestors also.)

At the 1000 Goddesses Gathering in 2016, we offered these different healing and envisioning stations on the Washington Mall in D.C.:
- For people to share about their grief.
- Or seek forgiveness for, or how they might be able to forgive others more.
- Or list what gives them Joy & Gratitude in their lives.
- Or how they might envision a beautiful world that we can co-manifest together. (What would this world look like? Different images that come to mind can be shared on paper, drawings, in partners… )
- Personal pledges/commitments for action steps after the Gathering.

Also in 2016 in DC, we created altars to the Mothers of the Four Elements (per the Yoruba tradition) anchoring the Four Directions (plus a large Goddess Statue in the center with an altar at her base), where we did ceremony.

At the 2018 Gathering on the Washington Mall, altars were created in the four directions to the four races of our Sacred Earth:
- East - to the peoples from the East (Asian-Indian regions)
- South - the indigenous peoples of the Earth
